| Description | Purity ~98% (SDS-PAGE). MIP-1g is a CC chemokine found in murine blood and a wide variety of mouse tissues, with no known human homolog. MIP-1g signals through the CCR1 receptor. MIP-1g chemoattracts neutrophils and also inhibits colony formation of bone marrow myeloid immature progenitors. MIP-1g contains six cysteines including the four highly conserved cysteine residues present in CC chemokines. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to 101aa residues from mouse MIP-1g, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~7.8kD Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract human monocytes using a concentration range of 1-10ng/ml.
