| Description | Purity >98% by HPLC. Novel endocannabinoid that have been isolated and characterized from bovine brain recently. It shows only weak affinity to cannabinoid CB1 and CB2 receptors and VR1 receptors. Its biological profile resembles that of abnormal Cannabidiol (Abn-CBD, Cat No. BN0045), a putative novel cannabinoid-like receptor agonist. Thus, N-Arachidonoyl-L-serine may be an endogenous agonist for this receptor. Also an activator of large conductance Ca2+-activated K+ channels (pEC50 = 5.63). |
