T6BP-TRAF6 complex formation is dependent on the presence of the IL-1 receptor-associated kinase (IRAK). TAX1BP1 inhibits TNF-induced apoptosis by mediating the TNFAIP3 anti-apoptotic activity. It may also play a role in the pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-signaling cascade. |
