| Description | Recognizes Cytokeratin 8. Species Crossreactivity: human, mouse, rat, tupaia belangeri. monodelphis domestica, hamster. Does not crossreact with bovine. Cultured Cell Crossreactivity: MCF-7, RT 112, PLC. Tumor Crossreactivity: all adenocarcinoma, undifferentiated carcinoma, cervix and hepatocellular carcinoma. Recognizes MR 52,500 polypeptide (cytokeratin 8) of human epithelia. Represents an excellent marker to discriminate simple epithelia from those of different origin. |
