| Description | DEC-205 is a type I cell surface protein expressed primarily by dendritic cells (DC). It is found on interdigitating dendritic cells in T-cell areas of lymphoid tissues, bone marrow-derived DC, Langerhans cells and at low levels on macrophages and T-cells. Tissue distribution of DEC-205 is comparable between human and mouse. The antibody was made against a central part of the Ricin B-type lectin, a domain located in the N-terminal extracellular portion of the DEC-205 protein. Application: IHC |
