| Description | Antibiotic; inhibits GlcNAc phosphotransferase (GPT). Blocks the formation of N-glycosidic linkages by inhibiting the first step in glycoprotein synthesis. Activity induces ER stress and causes G1 arrest; can be used to induce autophagy.
