| Description | IIE11 is useful for staining rat and human surfactant protein D in paraffin embedded and frozen tissue sections. IIE11 stains alveolar type II but not type III cells, alveolar macrophages and two types of Clara cells of which one subpopulation is also positive for SP-A.
