STC2 plays a role in epithelial-mesenchymal transition by activation of MAPK/ERK signaling in hypoxic ovarian cancer cells. STC2 function in different cancers may involve regulation of cell proliferation, neoplastic transformation and endothelial invasion. Total 3 hour incubation at room temperature. Wide dynamic range of 0.85-55 ng/mL. Sensitive to 0.033 ng/mL. The antibody pair used in the assay is specific to Stanniocalcin-2. Other related molecules did not show any significant cross-reaction.
