| Description | Product Specifications Human IGF-II: Insulin-like growth factor-II (IGF-II) is a 67 amino acid polypeptide that shares structural homology with insulin and IGF-I. IGF-II is widely distributed in many tissues throughout the body and acts on numerous cell types through the Type 1 IGF receptor. IGF-II binds specifically to the IGF-II / cation-independent mannose-6-phosphate receptor, as well as tothe family of IGF binding proteins, but the physiological function as a result of all these interactions has not been clearly established.
