| Description | Mouse Anti-LGALS1 Recombinant Antibody (6C8.4-1). Provided herein is a Mouse monoclonal antibody, which binds to Galectin 1 (LGALS1). The antibody can be used for immunoassay techniques, such as ICC, IF, WB. The galectins are a family of beta-galactoside-binding proteins implicated in modulating cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions. LGALS1 may act as an autocrine negative growth factor that regulates cell proliferation.Diseases associated with LGALS1 include Benign Metastasizing Leiomyoma and Thyroid Cancer. Among its related pathways are Apoptosis and Autophagy and MAP Kinase Signaling. Gene Ontology (GO) annotations related to this gene include obsolete signal transducer activity.
