It is specific to Total Activin A and exhibits no detectable impact from the addition of Follistatin. The Activin A's calibration is traceable to the current NIBSC/WHO reference reagent (91/626) to ensure accuracy and reproducibility assay-to-assay and lot-to-lot. Analytical measureable range of 0.10 - 10 ng/mL allows for studies in a variety of physiological states. Sensitive to 0.065 ng/mL. Total 3.5 hour incubation at room temperature.
