| Description | Purity: > 85% by SDS - PAGE Format: Liquid. In 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 7.5) containing 0.1M NaCl, 10% glycerol, 1mM DTT, 2mM EDTA . PDLIM1 is a member of the enigma protein family. The protein contains two protein interacting domains, a PDZ domain at the amino terminal end and one to three LIM domains at the carboxyl terminal. It is a cytoplasmic protein associated with the cytoskeleton. The protein may function as an adapter to bring other LIM-interacting proteins to the cytoskeleton. Pseudogenes associated with this gene are located on chromosomes 3, 14 and 17. Recombinant human PDLIM1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. |
