This protein is similar to CCL4 which inhibits HIV replication in peripheral blood monocytes that express CCR5. Recombinant human CCL4L1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by conventional chromatography, after refolding of the isolated inclusion bodies in a renaturation buffer. |
