Anti-Rabbit IgG (Fc) Magnetic Particles, Smooth Surface (# WHM-S097) have a thick layer of polymer coating with covalently coupled goat anti-rabbit IgG (Fc) antibody on the surface of the beads. No exposed iron oxide on the surface of the beads makes them beneficial in applications where exposed iron oxide causes undesirable interferences. The goat anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (Fc specific) reacts with the heavy chains of rabbit IgG, but not with the light chains common to most rabbit immunoglobulins.
