SNX-2112 selectively accumulates in tumors compared to normal tissues and binds to the N-terminal adenosine triphosphate binding site of Hsp90, inhibiting its activity. This results in the proteasomal degradation of oncogenic client proteins, which prevents signaling through these client proteins, induces apoptosis and inhibits tumor cell proliferation. MW: 464.48.
