| Description | Purity: > 90% by SDS - PAGE Format: Liquid. In 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 1mM DTT, 30% glycerol, 200mM NaCl, 1mM EDTA. MPG (DNA-3-methyladenine glycosylase) belongs to the DNA glycosylase MPG family. This protein initiates base excision repair in DNA by removing a wide variety of alkylated, deaminated, and lipid peroxidation-induced purine adducts. Recombinant human MPG protein, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. |
