It required for maturation of extra mitochondrial Fe-S proteins The NuBP1-NuBP2 heterotetramer forms a Fe-S scaffold complex, mediating the de novo assembly of a Fe-S cluster and its transfer to target apoproteins. Recombinant human NuBP1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. |
