| Description | Purity: > 95% by SDS - PAGE Format: Liquid. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0) containing 40% glycerol, 0.15M NaCl, 1mM DTT. DECR2, also known as peroxisomal 2,4-dienoyl-CoA reductase, is an auxiliary enzyme of beta-oxidation. DECR2 participates in the degradation of unsaturated fatty enoyl-CoA esters having double bonds in both even- and odd-numbered positions in peroxisome. This protein catalyzes the NADP-dependent reduction of 2,4-dienoyl-CoA to yield trans-3-enoyl-CoA. Recombinant human DECR2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography. |
